The cast and crew behind The Babymoon are elated to announce that one of our very own, Daniel Raymont, has been cast in the new FX television series, Run Coyote Run.
This bilingual action/comedy show, set to premiere in May 2017, will be the first original series for Fox Networks Group (FNG) Latin America.
Run Coyote Run centers around two best friends, Gemaliel and Morris, who have just reunited to create a “touristic adventure” travel agency (IMDB). The adventure? Just a little bit of illegally smuggling “tourists” out of Mexico and into the United States. Although good-hearted deep, deep, down inside, Gemaliel and Morris wind up stumbling into more adventures than they originally anticipated.
We know what you’re thinking– tell us more about Daniel Raymont! After all, he was so great in The Babymoon, we can’t wait to see him in Run Coyote Run! (Right? Are we close? Thought so. We love Marcos too!)
In this FX series, Raymont will be playing a character who aims to wreak havoc in the United States (Hero or villian? You decide.) Each episode of Run Coyote Run will introduce the audience to a new character, one of which is Daniel Raymont, so we can’t tell you when he will appear… you will just have to watch and find out for yourself!
In addition to his work in The Babymoon, you may know Daniel from his role as British rockstar Vincent Stowman on the TV series Bull, a new drama airing on CBS Tuesdays at 9/8c. Daniel has also appeared in Amazon’s streaming show Mozart in the Jungle, as well as the films No Se Aceptan Devoluciones (Instructions Not Included), The Angriest Man in Brooklyn, Stain Removal, Lucky N#mber, and more. To connect with Daniel, you can catch him on Facebook @DanielMRaymont, or on Twitter @jazzyd.
Run Coyote Run is created by Gustavo Loza, a writer, producer, and director known for his work including television series 40 y 20 and Cloroformo, and films such as Al otro lado and La otra familia. The show will feature a powerful, talented cast, including actor such as Harold Torres, Eivaut Rischen, and Cristina Rodlo.
